The semester holidays. The time for students like you and me to relax and rejuvenate before the new semester starts. A good time to catch up with old friends and relive the good times.

Just after my final paper on the 4th September (yup..that was a few weeks back. Haha!), Stephanie & I headed to Jeffery's birthday chalet down at Costa Sands Pasir Ris. We had a great time there throughout the weekend. Good Barbecued food, lots of drinks (No alcoholic drinks by the way.. I guess this celebration is good for people who are driving.) and good company of friends.

Exams! The test of knowledge and countless hours of studying

Semestral exams! Burning midnight oil and preparing countless pages of notes had been a routine for students like you and me. The past week was a tiring week for both Stephanie and myself as well as my study cliques. We spent day and night studying, preparing notes and having fun in the study area in school.

This week is exam week for Steph and myself, Steph started on her exam papers last week and I started on mine this week. Well, we hope that the past week of intense studying will enable us to achieve good grades in the exams. Target results for both of us - 'B'! Haha!

Yup. Last but not least, Happy 22nd Birthday to my bro and buddy Jeffery Chua. Happy Birthday Dude!

Speaking about beating the recession, spending wisely and getting the most out of the product is talk of the town. Highly recommended by Stephanie, we visited the food court at Concord Hotel down at Orchard Road to try out it's famous Korean food. Well, the stall lived up to its name. Serving authentic Korean food at reasonable prices, the portion was reasonable and the taste was tantalizing! Kudos to my love, Stephanie! Just wanna say how much I love u! Haha! (:

Desserts! The dish that everyone craves for. Set aside the ice cream, cheesecakes is the ideal dessert for the weekends! Steph and I visited Tampines One on Saturday for a stroll. We passed by Bakerzin and found out that they were having an eye opening promotion. 50% off selected cakes, the first thing that came to our minds were cheesecakes! The cheesecakes tasted great! Great taste and good texture.

Enjoyed the weekends, the good food and spending precious time with my love, Stephanie. Cheers!

Good food is not about the quantity, it is the quality that counts.

Relaxation Therapy 101

Finally the MST - Mid Semester Tests are over! No more test papers to take for now till the end of August. It's now time to submit holiday assignments and definitely time to spend precious time with my love Stephanie after a week of intense studying. Assignments are inevitable but with the love and encouragement of a love one, miracles happens. (:

A weekend escape to Sentosa - $30
The fun and enjoyment we experienced - Priceless!

Finally the term break has begun. Time to put the books aside and have fun for the first few days. Headed to the southernmost island of continent Asia with Jeff, Hwee Lee and my love Stephanie. Had lots of fun on the beach in the morning and early afternoon, took the skyride in the evening and the view was spectacular! The magnificient view of the sunset and the feel of the evening breeze was priceless. (:

The Massive!

Finally! The start of the term break! A good time for me for chill out and mug for the upcoming mid semester test. Celebrated Sam's 22nd birthday on Friday, headed to Botak Jones at Orchard for dinner. Botak lives up to his name, "Damn good food at a damn good price".

After all the good food, headed to Eski bar for drinks. Well..it was real cold at 2 degrees celsius! The atmosphere was chilly and it's like drinking liquor in a commercial freezer. Two thumbs up for Eski Bar and Botak Jones! (:

Enjoyable Weekends & Endless Assignments!

The past weekend was eventful and enjoyable! Finally a break from all the assignments, tutorials and lectures. Met up with my cliques and we went on to paint the town red! Retail Therapy! Well, clothes and footwear are essentials that we can't live without. What's more, GSS (Great Singapore Sale) has started!

This week will be a busy week for me, on Wednesday I'll have to submit my Engineering Materials case study assignment which I've been working on since mid May and I'm about 80% done with it. Come Friday, it'll be my first Engineering Maths quiz! Yeah! I'm gonna study hard and score for this quiz!

Living life with the essence of yin & yang. Balance of academic & social activities is the answer to success! =)

Slide Factor

Today's drift meet @ SP is the second training session for the new members of SPRCD (Singapore Polytechnic Radio Controlled Drifters). Well, the attendance for today's training session was spontaneous as the freshies were offered RC car packages by street revolution @ vista point. The price for the packages are very reasonable as it's priced 10-15% cheaper than usual. An advice for the people getting their kits this Friday, if you're into it..just get it as it is worth the price.

It's not about the price, it's about the passion for RC drifting. (:

Motor Sports had always been a passion for me, thanks to Samuel who introduced the hobby of drifting to me during the last semester break. Kudos to Samuel! Met my drifting cliques at the SengKang drift meet which is held on every weekends at Blk 186. To Andrew, LiLi, Jeff, Kenny, Sam and Edwin, enjoy drifting and test our skills at the upcoming HPI drift competition. Win some prizes! Drift on! Cheers!
